This is where we start, between the church and the old house, in the swamp. My guys are setting up the batter boards to position the footing. The building will be 7m x 12m. Everything is metric, so my tape measure is worthless. The contractor has his own tape measure, a hatchet, a length of plastic tubing, a plumb bob and this square. This is precision stuff and not for the squeamish.Between laughing and talking about me (in cambodian) there is a lot of discussion about the placement of the batter boards and the final size. We'll start digging the footing tomorrow after church.
This computer is so slow and filled with viri, it is almost impossible to do anything before it shuts itself down.
